Tara Baty-Thomas MA,RCC,RSW

Tara is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and a Registered Social Worker with decades of experience helping people live their best lives.

She specializes in Couples Counselling, Anger Management, and Seniors issues. Tara enjoys working with men, women, and couples struggling with relationship issues, major life transitions, anxiety, stress, along with other mental health concerns. She believes that people improve faster when they learn practical skills to help them overcome their difficulties.

Tara has completed Levels One and Two of the Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Trauma and Affair Recovery, and Couples and Addictions.

She has also received additional training and education from Moose Anger Management in Anger Management techniques.

Tara has been working with seniors for over 30 years. She understands the challenges that the elderly and their loved ones face when physical and/or cognitive abilities start to decline. Tara can help you prepare for the future to insure a smoother transition to whatever the next step is for your family member.

  • Change their thinking patterns to reduce anger
  • Relax in moments of stress or anger
  • Engage in effective communication
